Project Overview
The Watonwan County Library system is made up of five libraries of various sizes. Some libraries are open only a few hours each week and have limited staff. The teen programming boxes are a way to provide teen programming in the face of these challenges. Boxes were filled with supplies and a book to go along with the activity (How to draw comic characters, how to make duct tape wallets, etc.). The boxes were rotated among the branches throughout the summer. The ten boxes are Manga, Magnetic Poetry, Duct Tape Creations, Origami, Zentangles, Creative Writing, Comic Books, Scratch Art, Teen Coloring and Matchbox Louvre.
